What are teams like?

In order to better understand teamwork it is worth considering some of the things that make teams or that demonstrate how teams react;

The most important thing about any team is that its members will have been through things together, shared experiences. It is these shared experiences which truly bond all the members of a team to each other. It is the thing that separates the team from others around them. It is the reason that successful teams typically come together in times of adversity, that they as a group will have faced common struggles of some kind. Think back over your own experiences and you will find that the times when you faced most difficulties was the time when you felt most part of a team.
